Returns and Refund Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Policy governs cancellations, returns, and refunds for Destinatarium paid plans, additional usage, and add-ons. Because Destinatarium provides a digital service, there are no physical products to return.
1. Subscription cancellation
The Customer may cancel a subscription at any time through the options available in their account or by contacting support@destinatarium.com. Cancellation prevents future renewals and, unless otherwise stated during the process, takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.
Cancellation alone does not entitle the Customer to a full or prorated refund for the current period. The Customer may continue using the Service until cancellation takes effect, subject to plan limits and the Terms of Service. This rule does not limit the rights in sections 5, 6, and 7.
2. When a refund may be issued
Destinatarium may approve a full or partial refund if a charge was duplicated or incorrect; a charge was made after a properly requested cancellation took effect; the Service was unavailable for a substantial part of the period due to an incident directly attributable to Destinatarium; or applicable law requires it. If an interruption affects only part of the period or Service, Destinatarium may offer a prorated refund or equivalent credit toward future invoices.
3. Non-refundable items
Unless applicable law or sections 5, 6, or 7 provide otherwise, no refund will be issued for billing periods already started or used; unused sending quotas, credits, or contracted capacity; processed overages; amounts relating to accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy; delivery, spam classification, or rejection issues caused by recipient mail providers, Customer configuration, or factors outside Destinatarium's reasonable control; or fees and exchange-rate differences charged by banks, card issuers, or payment providers.
4. Renewals and annual plans
Subscriptions renew at the selected frequency until canceled. The Customer is responsible for canceling before renewal if they do not wish to continue. Annual plans and other prepaid amounts are not prorated upon early cancellation, except as provided in sections 2, 5, 6, and 7 or when applicable law establishes a different right.
5. Consumer cooling-off rights
Mandatory consumer rights prevail over any incompatible provision of this Policy. Where Argentine consumer law applies, a consumer may revoke a distance contract within the legally established ten (10) calendar days. This right is subject to applicable exceptions, including when the service has been effectively used or consumed and when it is contracted for integration into commercial processes or services to third parties. Consumers in other jurisdictions may exercise any mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights granted by applicable law.
6. European Union and European Economic Area consumers
This section applies to natural persons residing in the EU or EEA who contract the Service for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
6.1 Right of withdrawal
The consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) calendar days after it is concluded, without giving a reason. They must communicate an unequivocal decision before the period expires, using the electronic withdrawal function in the contracting interface where applicable or the procedure and form in section 8.
6.2 Immediate start of the Service
If the consumer expressly requests that the Service begin during the withdrawal period and then withdraws, only the proportionate amount for the Service supplied before notice may be charged, provided the required information and consent requirements were met. The consumer loses the right of withdrawal due to full performance only after expressly consenting to early performance and acknowledging that the right will be lost once performance is complete. Partial use of a continuing subscription does not automatically extinguish the right.
6.3 Refund
Following valid withdrawal, Destinatarium will refund the relevant amounts without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after receiving notice. The same payment method will be used unless expressly agreed otherwise, at no cost to the consumer.
6.4 Lack of conformity
These rights are independent of remedies when a digital Service is not supplied or does not conform to the contract. The consumer may require conformity and, where legally appropriate, a proportionate price reduction or termination. For termination of a continuing contract due to lack of conformity, the refund includes the price for the non-conforming period and any prepaid amount for the period after termination.
7. European business customers
This section applies to legal persons and natural persons contracting for purposes related to their trade, business, craft, or profession and domiciled in the EU or EEA. They are not consumers and the statutory withdrawal right in section 6 does not apply.
Without prejudice to contractual rights, Destinatarium offers these Customers a voluntary cancellation guarantee for the initial purchase of a paid plan: the request must be made within fourteen (14) calendar days; the plan price will be refunded if unused; if used, the elapsed period, processed overages, and services supplied will be deducted; and the refundable balance will be returned by the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
This guarantee does not apply to renewals, onboarding or consulting already provided, custom development, individually negotiated Enterprise contracts, IP addresses or infrastructure reserved specifically for the Customer, or accounts suspended for breach. It creates no consumer rights and does not limit rights expressly granted by contract.
8. How to request a refund or exercise withdrawal
Email support@destinatarium.com with the account email, invoice or charge date and identifier, reason for the request, and information needed to identify the transaction. Destinatarium may request reasonable identity and security verification. The request must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days after the disputed charge unless applicable law grants a longer period.
8.1 Model withdrawal form for EU and EEA consumers
Use of this form is optional. It may be copied, completed, and sent to support@destinatarium.com:
To Destinatarium:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the Destinatarium service.
Consumer name:
Account email:
Plan or contract identifier:
Contract date:
Request date:
Destinatarium will acknowledge electronic withdrawal requests on a durable medium, including their content, date, and time, without undue delay.
9. Refund processing
Requests are assessed under this Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable law. Approved refunds will be issued within ten (10) calendar days, normally to the original payment method. EU and EEA consumer withdrawals are subject to section 6.3's specific period, running from receipt of the notice. The time until funds appear depends on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider. Taxes are refunded only where required by applicable tax rules.
10. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, the Customer should contact Destinatarium to try to resolve the issue. A fraudulent or abusive chargeback may result in account suspension, without limiting rights granted to the Customer by applicable law.
11. Changes to this Policy
Destinatarium may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Service, payment methods, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means and applied prospectively unless the law requires otherwise.
